These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Franklee Tech Works website and the services we provide. By using our site or authorizing us to work on a device, you agree to these Terms.
We provide computer repair, data recovery, networking, and small-business IT support out of 148 Franklee Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19108. All services are subject to a written estimate and your approval before billable work begins.
Diagnostic fees are disclosed at intake. Repair estimates are provided in writing (email or text) and become firm once you reply “approve.” Additional work discovered mid-repair is quoted separately and never performed without a second written approval.
Payment is due at pickup unless you have net terms on file. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, ACH, and cash. Unpaid balances over 30 days accrue 1.5% monthly interest.
Repairs are warranted for 30 days from pickup against defects in parts and workmanship. The warranty does not cover subsequent physical damage, liquid exposure, unrelated failures, or software issues introduced after pickup.
Devices left with us for more than 60 days after we notify you the work is complete may be considered abandoned under 13 Pa.C.S. and may be recycled or resold to recover storage and repair costs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Franklee Tech Works is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data before submitting a device. While we take reasonable precautions and image drives before invasive work, we cannot guarantee data preservation on damaged storage.
You agree not to attempt to interfere with the security or availability of this website, scrape it in an abusive way, or use it to transmit unlawful content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the courts of Philadelphia County.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
